Since 1946 our photographers have been touring French museums to record faithful inventories of the collections and distribute them globally. Today we are digitizing the works so that everyone can consult them free of charge on the photo agency site photo.rmn.fr. As well as French collections, we manage and distribute museum holdings in Berlin and the State of Brandenburg (BPK), numerous Italian museums and the Alinari collection, Cairo museums, the National Palace Museum of Taiwan, the British Museum, Dulwich Picture Gallery and the Met in New York.

In short, this means a huge number of photos – there are over a million images in our catalogue.
