Palais Augmenté, the first festival dedicated to artistic creation in augmented reality and immersive cultural innovations, is back for a third edition with the common theme of the avatar, virtual bodies and their relationship to physical, political and social bodies.
The festival, an initiative of Fisheye and the Rmn - Grand-Palais, aims to take stock of technological innovations in culture. This year's programme includes a series of original works in augmented reality created by international artists and accessible from your smartphones, interactive digital experiences in spaces called "labs" and a public agora, tackling themes linked to contemporary digital creation.
The artists on show: Liu Bolin (born 1973, China), Lu Yang (born 1984, Japan), Salomé Chatriot (born 1995, France), Tobias Gremmler (born 1970).
Institutions present: Opéra National de Paris, Chaillot Théâtre National de la Danse, Universcience, ISEA, Palais des Beaux Arts de Lille, Grand Palais Immersif, Francetv, Gobelins PARIS, ECAL - Ecole Cantonale d'Art de Lausanne, EDF, ENSAD.
